This cutting-edge tool directly measures your team's emotional and social intelligence, providing insightful assessments that lead to real growth. Through specially designed learning experiences, TESI not only evaluates but actively enhances team performance. Discover and cultivate the seven essential behaviors that drive high-performance teams. By the end, your team will identify clear, actionable goals for skill improvement. Invest in TESI and watch your team excel like never before.

How it works

TESI offers a unique set of tools for determining and developing your team's emotional effectiveness using the seven dimensions that are a prerequisite for high performance. TESI is designed to inform you on the most current information on emotional and social intelligence research and outlines the authors' proven "Collaborative Growth Team Model" that gives team members the ability to rate their performance on the seven skills.

  1. Team identity
  2. Motivation
  3. Emotional awareness
  4. Communication
  5. Conflict resolution
  6. Stress tolerance
  7. Positive mood

The TESI is your starting point for understanding a team's emotional intelligence. Each individual in the team completes and scores the assessment, and the results are then compiled to create an overall team rating.

Learning outcomes

Successful completion of this course will increase participants' ability to:

  • Manage emotions by recognizing how thoughts and emotions are connected.
  • Improve self-control by identifying physical cues that indicate their emotions may be taking over.
  • Discover how emotional intelligence can help them develop more positive relationships at work and a more optimistic outlook.
  • Use assertive communication to express their needs and feelings appropriately.
  • Use emotional intelligence to bounce back from setbacks.

Uses and applications

The TESI directly measures a team’s emotional and social intelligence. It accomplishes this task by examining team members through learning experiences that are specifically designed to help them improve their performance. This program is designed to enable team members and their leaders to systematically evaluate their team performance and understand the seven critical behaviors that are requisite for building high-performance teams. At the end of the workshop, team members will discover one or two goals for improving their skills.
